We are connecting with legendary Stanford University coach Mark Marquess as we go ‘Extra Innings’ to reflect his journey in the game, elevating the Cardinal to one of the more prominent household names in college baseball. Inside this show, Marquess opens up on his growth as a coach throughout his over 1,600 wins, 25 NCAA Regional Appearances, 15 trips to Omaha and the College World Series, bringing two national championships home to Palo Alto. Marquess delivers his passionate approach to coaching for relationships while also offering his viewpoint on the surge of travel baseball and its effect on team building and specialization.
