This episode is a unique opportunity to connect with one of the living legends in college baseball as we shine a light on Andy Lopez and his illustrious career. Lopez is one of only three coaches to lead three different college baseball programs to the College World Series and is one of only two head coaches to win a national championship at two different schools. A recent inductee into the ABCA Hall of Fame, Lopez reflects on his upbringing and how he used baseball to help his family, his journey as a young coach on the high school ranks and the lessons he still needed to learn, plus his path in building three programs on the Division I level and leading each of them to Omaha. From his miracle Pepperdine club in 1992 to his Arizona team that dogpiled in 2012, Lopez dives between those teams and discusses how he fell short and the important lessons he learned and can give back to our coaching community.
