In this week’s episode, we connect with Ashley Bratcher, the Senior Director of Baseball Operations at USA Baseball and Mary Marandi, who serves as the Assistant Director of Corporate Communications for Minor League Baseball as we spotlight women who are blazing their own trails inside of this game. They help us answer the bell of celebrating Women’s History Month by discussing their journeys in baseball, from internship opportunities to being educated on the business side of baseball to how they have each carved out their own seats at the table in a male-dominated sport. We discuss inclusion in our game and how they see the progress that is being made in our current climate, leaving our listeners with encouragement for how far women have come in baseball but keeping in mind that there will always be more work to be done.
