Show Notes

We head back into the high school ranks to connect with Danny Hignight from Providence High School and Greg Simmons from Charlotte Christian School, both in North Carolina. Hignight and Simmons were paired up at this past fall’s Barnstormers Clinic in Charlotte and our staff felt that the entire listenership needed to hear from them. In this episode, we take the topic of building an elite level of culture in of our programs, from defining it specifically to detailing what it looks like across every front. Both Hignight and Simmons offer the details about what makes both of their programs stand as two of the top high school programs in North Carolina and we unpack how they build relationships with their players, their parents and even the umpires, all in an effort to hold up a first class program and make a difference in Simmons's words: "well past the seventh inning of life".
