Show Notes
Recorded live from Lewiston, Idaho, we connect with Tennessee Wesleyan University skipper Billy Berry just one day before he and Bulldogs would dogpile just a few feet from where we sit. Boasting 18-straight regular season conference championships, 11-straight bids to the NAIA Tournament, five World Series appearances, an average of over 43 wins in 12 years and now two national championships, it could be said that TWU has cemented themselves at the forefront of NAIA baseball. We focus our time with Berry on the consistency that the team has found as he opens up and pays homage to the coaches who came before him and then details how he and his staffs over the years have held true to the values of the program. We work across all fronts as Berry details his approach to recruiting, practice, development, game strategy and even community involvement which includes adopting Neyland Pickel, who has given this program more perspective than they could have imagined. Join us for a walk through Coach Berry’s growth as a leader, how he molds leadership within his locker room and the principles that he holds true.
