It’s that time of the year again, coaches! In the ABCA National Office, we are putting the final touches on our upcoming ABCA Convention in Dallas and this is our preview episode to all of the great things happening at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. We have a few special treats as we connect with Billy Owens, the co-founder of Turn Two For Youth, the Official Charity of the ABCA, and also the outgoing ABCA President for 2018, Rich Maloney of Ball State University. Owens helps educate our listeners on the tremendous work being done by Turn Two For Youth, how it all came together and how more of our coaches can part of the solution to helping grow and support baseball communities around the country. Maloney stops by to reflect on his excitement for the Dallas Convention and the growth of the Association over the past few years, his thoughts on the state of the game today plus his call to action for all coaches to keep character and ethics at the forefront of their mission in coaching.
