Southeastern Louisiana University head coach and loyal ABCA member coach Matt Riser opens up about his perspective on bringing a fearless and relentless approach to stealing bases to his game plan. One of the hottest young head coaches in college baseball and one of our featured speakers at the upcoming ABCA Convention, Riser was an easy choice for this show as we walk right into his locker room and dugout to explore his 'Stuck on Green' mentality on the base paths that has led SLU to new heights as a program over the past four seasons. Detailing the specific leads and distances in our tour around the bases, Riser talks about exactly how the Lions approach creating pressure on opposing defenses and ultimately towards scoring more runs.
