This week, we head to the high school ranks to connect with Kimberly High School (WI) head coach Ryan McGinnis. A 24-year continuous member and past speaker at the ABCA Convention and Barnstormers Clinics, McGinnis opens up about his path in baseball and the details of how he is finding success on the baseball field and preparing his players to be successful in life. McGinnis details his growth as a leader and finding new ways to ask better questions, which has in turn helped him develop as a better listener. He also outlines how his role as Athletic Director has helped him see the 'greater good' in building an outstanding department as well as a baseball program. McGinnis opens up about his quest to learn more and improve himself, using failure and past mistakes to guide his development and how he gone about building a championship culture inside the Papermaker program.
