We are connecting with one of the true legends inside our game and also one of our most popular ABCA Convention speakers throughout the years: mental game pioneer Dr. Ken Ravizza of Heads-Up Baseball. Ravizza, who will be speaking at the 2017 ABCA Convention in Indianapolis, joins our podcast to discuss his reflections from well over 30+ years in baseball. Ravizza discusses where we stand today in our mental game training, with tremendous takeaways including his analogy of a chicken sandwich and truly appreciating 'the fifteen seconds between pitches'. Ravizza also calls for a return back to simply 'competing' on the field and moving away from feeling 'good' to play, plus we dive into the locker room and his work with championship college and MLB teams and players, hearing how the very best combat their fears on the field and between their ears.
