Winning just seems to follow this guy around and it's even better that he is one of our loyal ABCA members: Eddie Smith, the head coach at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington. Leading a storied program like LCC has its challenges but Smith has wrapped his arms around them and decided to 'Win Anyway', a mantra inside his program that keeps his players focused on finding a way to win and never allowing excuses to trickle in. This has helped propel the Red Devils to three straight West Region crowns and two out of the last three NWAC Championship trophies coming back to Longview. This interview has many takeaways, including terrific advice from Smith towards the end of the show for any coach out there, plus his viewpoints on learning as you go and taking invaluable lessons from each stop along the way.
