It's a terrific chat with Hoffman, who currently serves as a Special Assistant to the Front Office of the Padres and also on staff with the Great Britain National Team. We unpack his illustrious career in baseball and so much more, including his experience and growth playing Junior College baseball in California and his time at Arizona playing under ABCA Hall of Famer Jerry Kindall. Hoffman details the important lessons he learned inside his college baseball career that prepared him for the game of life. We unravel his transition from shortstop to becoming one of the greatest closers in history, how Hoffman used his position player experience to guide him on the mound plus the development of his infamous changeup.
