A consistent ABCA Convention attendee and a coach who is widely respected inside baseball coaching circles, Murphy joins our show to discuss his PERSON-first approach to coaching and player development. Entering his 20th season as the Crimson Tide head coach, Murphy has vaulted Alabama to the upper echelon of college softball with 19-straight NCAA Tournament appearances, 11 trips to the College World Series and a CWS title in 2012. It's his approach to being a lifelong learner that has us dialing him up and onto this show. Murphy speaks about his personal journey through coaching, his growth and realization that winning becomes a biproduct of coaching the person well before he coaches the player.
