We dive headfirst into the summer baseball world and connect with Jesse Cole, the man in the yellow tux and owner of the Savannah Bananas and their manager, loyal ABCA member Tyler Gillum. This organization is known thinking outside of the box and the results cannot be denied, with 70+ sold out crowds since 2016, averaging 4,200 fans per game. They have a wealth of information to offer our listeners with a business and development model that works. Both Cole and Gillum give insight into how their operation runs in Savannah with mostly ideas and solutions to challenge coaches, owners and general managers to think differently about their clubs, the experience of the players and the fans, the environment at their ballparks and how we can keep growing this space and opportunity for college baseball players.
