Show Notes

It took us two and a half years to get here, but we couldn’t be any more excited about reaching this milestone. Here are the stats after 100 shows: 134 guests, 85 state or national championships, 300+ state or World Series appearances and well over 7,500 minutes of “Certified Audio Gold”. What a perfect way for us to celebrate this accomplishment: we invited back several of our former guests to recount their experiences coming onto the show, how they view this medium inside the baseball community plus their thoughts on how the podcast and the ABCA overall has guided and shaped their coaching careers and development. We connected with Mike Rooney from ESPN and Perfect Game (Episode 38), CJ Gillman from the Air Force Academy (Episode 67), Patrick Murphy from the University of Alabama Softball (Episode 61), Matt Deggs from Sam Houston State University (Episode 44), Alan Jaeger from Jaeger Sports (Episode 1, 34 and 65), Butch Chaffin from Cookeville High School in Tennessee (Episode 37) and ABCA Hall of Famer Jerry Weinstein (Episode 16) all found time to weigh in their viewpoint of this podcast moving toward 100 shows and where they see this show continuing to move forward.
